I feel that I must bring to your attention the outstanding service, graciousness and care the Cobalt Group received by your event staff during our recent President's Club program at the Occidental Grand Aruba. My colleagues and I were delighted to have had the pleasure of working with Janith Agunbero, Ray Malmberg, Ed Wever and countless others during our recent stay from May 5-9, 2009. While I know that Occidental properties are renowned for the customer service they provide, I feel like your staff treated our group with the utmost importance.

Their professional and courteous attitude, expert knowledge, and patience in handling our specific issues were very important to the success of our program, wholeheartedly appreciated and met with absolute customer satisfaction. In what should have taken 6 months to plan, your staff helped us execute a superlative 5-day event for 60 people with barely a week to prepare. And, every single one of ~hem did it with a smile. Your staff handled our issues as ifthey were their own, and we are overwhelmingly pleased with the outcome. Thank you for such grand treatment, and I hope that you will pass the Cobalt Group thanks on to Janith, Ray, Ed, Veronica, Adriana, Janella, Anne, Leonardo and everyone else whose hard workturned what seemed to be a catastrophe into victory.

"I cannot thank each of you enough for helping us to make the Enhanced Separation Technologies 2005 Long Range Planning Meeting the huge success that it was! I am still receiving accolades from our delegates about the beautiful facilities and friendly staff there at the Renaissance Aruba. The Resort was charming and we all loved the boat launch to the private Island – that was such an awesome sight and an exhilarating experience indeed!
The conference room was well appointed and the catering staff was all top-notch. We all enjoyed the breakfasts which were, in a word delicious! I know that much time and efforts were expended in our behalf to make this conference both memorable and a very special event for all of us. I really appreciate everything that you did and for all the “special touches” – the golf cart to the conference rooms come to mind as well as the wine & cheese. We required several levels of upgraded accommodations in addition to defined space for meetings, receptions, dinners, award ceremonies and beach parties. Without fail, the staff was creative, friendly, helpful, courteous, and absolutely wonderful. "The resort couldn’t have been more accommodating – or creative. During IKON’s off-site event at the Marriott Convention Center a Carnival theme was recommended. It was fabulous! "I conduct a minimum of three (3) meetings per year and always have golf outings or tournaments as part of our schedule. I have done this for a number of years with National Insulation Contractors' Exchange, LLC and I also did a number of outings in a previous career. These have been held at some of the best golf courses in the United States and a few of them off shore.
In all that time I have never had service and personal attention to my group as I experienced in Aruba at Tierra del Sol. Your staff was totally responsive to every detail and your personal involvement with our group made our outing and tournament a completely positive success. Scoring was accurate and the results were developed quickly so we could resume our meeting agenda. Every aspect of the experience with Tierra del Sol was beyond my expectation.
